A disjointed ramble through the first impressions of NFT London: the panels, the numbers, the audience, the venue, my own social inadequacies, and interests, and wondering whether minimising the language of web3 is the goal many speakers thought it might be.

A real ramble through the current view from me: projects that don't mint out, the choices they make, and a bit where it seems like I'm genuinely worried we won't get to see the best of web3 before it gets overtaken by ~the mainstream. Who's succeeding, and who's bringing me joy, and what I'm after right now.

Considering Muse's NFT album release of 'Will of the People', pondering what Serenade did well in promoting and constructing the mint process, and thinking about what this demonstrates about where we are for wider adoption of NFTs and blockchain as a mechanism for sales, music, and fandom. 

A quick update into how I'm keeping myself enthused and engaged in web3 whilst the bear market tightens its grip, and some of us wait for The Merge. Plus: how much I don't know about bears...

Hopping on board the Hype Train and thoroughly reviewing the service! Why hype can make web3 look bad, the complexities of being British in a hype-space, the need for niche and content when you get behind it all. Enthusing about two fashion-based projects I find easy to hype, demonstrating the art of word of mouth, and fearing that it's all gone a bit web2 amidst the fears of bear territory. 

Pondering the barriers to w3 processes and adoptions, wondering when and how things will mainstream, and looking around at the 'holding period' feel of many w3 spaces and communities, and appreciating the honesty of that.
