There is a focus on women this week the team looks at: Collette, a biopic about the great French writer; Jane Fonda: a Life in Five Acts, a profile of the actress; and also revivals of Barbara Loden’s Wanda, American Psycho, Charles Burnett’s Killer of Sheep and Dario Argento’s The Bird with the Crystal Plumage; and on DVD this week, Debra Granik’s Leave No Trace. Finally, there is a brief discussion of the new book Robin Wood on the Horror Film.
