These 70% isopropyl alcohol pads contain the bacterial contaminant Paenibacillus phoenicis, which can cause serious or life-threatening infections.
These alcohol prep pads have been sold by Cardinal Health in the US, Puerto Rico and Japan between September 2025 and February 2026.
Stop using the recalled alcohol prep pads. Review inventory, separate and quarantine affected products, and follow instructions to return them. Contact Cardinal Health at 1-800-292-9332 or via the email [email protected] for further instructions regarding returns and product handling.
