Jesus starts out with, ‘Judge not’, but then teaches us that we must judge. Is Jesus saying that we should not judge others, in Matthew 7:1-6? That’s what most people say. Something like, ‘who are you to judge me’? Or, ‘the Bible says don’t judge’. We tend to use it that way especially when we don’t want to be judged over something wrong. He explains what he's teaching, then Jesus turns the conversation to making a judgement each of us must make. A choice between two paths.
