Main Point:
“Be faithful and vigilant, for the Lord will come when we least expect.” (cf. Luke 12:40)
Reflection
In today’s Gospel, Jesus calls us to constant vigilance and faithful stewardship. The faithful servant is the one who remains ready, serving with love and responsibility, even when the Master seems delayed.

Saint Paul, in the first reading, reminds us to offer every part of ourselves as weapons for righteousness. To belong to Christ means we no longer live for sin or laziness but for love and holiness.
Think, for example, of a security guard who stays alert through the night. He may not know when danger comes, but his duty is to stay awake. In the same way, as Christians, we must stay spiritually awake not letting comfort or distraction dull our hearts.

Faithfulness in little things kindness, prayer, forgiveness, honesty is the way to be ready when Christ comes, whether in our daily encounters or at the hour of our death.
The Way Forward
•Begin each day with a prayer of surrender: “Lord, let me serve you faithfully today.”
•Examine your conscience daily “Have I been awake to God’s presence today?”
•Live each moment as if it were your last opportunity to love.
Summary:
To live under grace is to stay faithful and ready for the Lord’s coming by using our lives as instruments of righteousness.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, help me to remain awake and faithful in all that I do. Teach me to serve with a sincere heart and to live each day as a gift of your grace. Amen.
