Take the most charming member of the family (no not the hand), stick her in a Hogwarts-inspired magic school, throw in a pinch of graphic violence, a potential trouple, and inject the whole thing with a murder mystery and you got yourself a franchise. Oh and having Tim Burton direct, the dudes from Spider-Man 2 write, and the modern-day scream queen star doesn't hurt.
