God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. This scripture should be a memory verse for anyone that desires to be used by God to help further His Kingdom. Today, Pastor Ed will be warning us against becoming puffed up when we receive a promotion, or if we become blessed financially or materially. Everything that you have has been given to you by God, so there is no reason to boast. All your successes in life have been allowed because of the sovereignty of God, give the Lord all the glory.
