We can often forget that Satan is not a physical being, but a spiritual one. That means that he has the ability to impact the spiritual realm and use those things to distract and deceive people. In the New Testament John gives us a warning to test every spirit because not all of them are from God. Even though Satan operates in this area it doesn’t mean that we are defenseless.
