God promised Jacob big blessings would wait for him in heaven because of his faithfulness to God, despite false accusations and persecution coming to him at the moment. It was just like Jesus, too, Who was persecuted for what He said and did. Today, as you look at Jacob’s example with Pastor Dan, you can be sure that reward awaits, you, too, if you’re faithful to God even in the face of persecution or opposition. Anyone can oppose you, but no one has the power to truly stand against God and be victorious.
