Part 2 - The Caribbean Exploratory Research Center at the University of the Virgin Islands (UVICERC) teams up with the Access to Racial and Cultural Health Institute, Inc. (ARCH Institute). ARCH Institute Executive Director Duane Howell receives a warm welcome from Jamila before beginning their discussion on the U.S. Virgin Islands-Safe Communities Project. Dr. Noreen Michael, principal investigator on the UVICERC research team, phones in to explain the process of their study. The overall mission of the project is to identify safety priorities that can be used to drive public policies, leverage local funding to combat crime and implement prevention programs.
