Wednesday Wisdom 5/10/2023
I attended the 39th annual MBANJ conference and there were so many valuable takeaways, but the one that resonated the most with me, was during our industry leader panel and we were discussing past cycles. In that moment I started thinking back to when I first came into the Mortgage industry and then 2008l, 2014, 2018 and now. See each of these cycles taught us different valuable lessons, but all of them showed us that we are resilient and if we sit around discussing what we can't change it only makes us frustrated and doesn't allow us to lead our teams. This week I encourage you to go back to basics, because when I was doing 45% cash out refi's in the late 90's, I never thought to get upset about it because I was excited for the opportunity to build a career. We all have the greatest opportunity to educate and guide our families and referral partners.
