Excerpt:
When Jesus says, “Our Father,” He is establishing the relationship between Himself, you, and I as the children of God. It is an assertion of relationship between the Creator and the Created. Jesus’ intent is to have us understand that we are praying to a living, loving Spirit who knows us by our names.
