As we read Genesis 15-35, we’ll see several important milestones and three big messy stories: 1) Hagar and Ishmael 2) Sodom & Gomorrah and 3) the near-sacrifice of Isaac. In this episode we’ll talk about the importance of trying to read these stories without too many preconceptions so we can see more clearly that what really happens may not be what we’ve been told.

We’ll also walk through the life of Abraham’s son Isaac, and his grandson Jacob whose name changes to Israel, the name that will also be given to his descendants and their land forever.
