300 was directed by Zack Snyder, from a script by Snyder, Kurt Johnstad, and Michael B. Gordon, based on the original comic book by Frank Miller, and starred Gerard Butler, Lena Headey, David Wenham, Dominic West, and Michael Fassbender.
