In this introduction to Joshua (the sixth book of the Bible), we'll see a significant change of pace. The Hebrews have stopped wandering in the desert and now they start conquering the Promised Land.
Joshua also includes one of the most well-known Bible stories – the fall of the walls of Jericho. And there are also a couple mind-bending miracles. The Jordan River dries up for them to walk across (sound familiar?) and the sun stops in the sky for a while (yes, really!).
