Somehow, the Falcons managed to drop a 9-7 decision to the Carolina Panthers, who entered the contest with a record of 1-12, at a rainy and windy Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. The loss drops the Falcons to 6-8 and puts them behind the proverbial 8-ball for playoff qualification.
