David flees Saul and he's now on the lamb. Despite God's anointing, David isn't sitting on a throne but he's running from cave to cave to escape Saul. During this season of David's life we see a man tested and tried with various circumstances, but who nevertheless remains faithful to God and who turns to him in his troubles.
