Since the end of the book of Esther, the chronological development of the Bible remains on pause as we enter the wisdom and poetic genres of Scripture. From the very beginning of the Psalms, readers will immediately be exposed to the devotional life of Israel as they wait for the Messiah deliverer. In this episode, Brent and Trent briefly discuss the various themes within the psalms and how Psalm 2, a messianic psalm, applies to the big picture of the Bible and our own lives.
