Following an episode with introductory comments to the wisdom literature, Brent and Trent discuss the remaining wisdom books - Ecclesiastes and Song of Solomon. After commenting on a few well known Proverbs in the last chapters, a majority of this episode is spent discussing the contents and relevance of these later two books. These books not only instructed Israel as they awaited the presence of God to return to Israel in the form of a messiah-redeemer during their time of exile, but also guide our steps today. Similarly, we too await Christ's second return and can glean much from the wisdom these books offer as we discern how to honor God with the time he has given us on the earth - especially as we enjoy things of the earth, including marriage, guided by a proper fear of Him.
