Jesus invites his followers into God's Kingdom, which is here and now. As salt and light of the earth, we help preserve the moral fabric and dispel the darkness of sin, evil, and suffering around us through our love for God and others. Work and the workplace, where we spend half of our wake time, offer ample opportunities to be this salt and light to a needy world. That's what it means to live in God's kingdom.
