WEEK 4

Aired 20 February

---

Ahoy, lovers of Hastings, St Leonards and further-a-field in East Sussex, United Kingdom, Planet Earth. It's half term, and there's plenty going on in our town.

This week we chat about local events and activities in Hastings. We mention:

  • Julian Humphreys' kids drum club
  • the Board Game Museum and Cafe,
  • Seed quiz night on Thursdays
  • Queer Lives, Queer Objects at Hastings Museum & Art Gallery supported by Home Live Art
  • Samba Dance Classes with Braziliant Samba... and some shout outs to local press listings including Hastings Independent Press and Hastings Online Times.
  • The Actors Lounge, Eastbourne-based theatre company seeking acting teachers.
  • Fat Tuesday Umbrella workshops are still going strong, and don't forget Unconvention, a one-of-a-kind music conference.
  • We shout about local organisations including Stella Door Gallery, Afri-Co-Lab, Alexandra Park Greenhouse and a Mother's Day workshop where you can make a balm with your marm... and the Old Rectory's Mother's Day Afternoon Tea.

Other bits of nonsense include two-year olds in the Second Line, squashing your pets, pugs and lots more besides. Caf displays yet more music knowledge and Patsy styles Jamie as The Sweeney.
