"I thirst." There is so much wrapped up in these words of Christ. For one, he was required to say this to fulfill one of the over 360 prophecies about the Messiah. But more importantly, He was teaching us once more that Christ is what we need more than anything in this world. Whenever you feel unfulfilled, empty, like something is wrong in your life...this is you being spiritually thirsty. The only thing that will quench that thirst, the only thing that will give you meaning is a close relationship with Christ.
