The action got going Friday night with UNLV upsetting Fresno State in overtime and then San Diego State doing all they can to give the game up to New Mexico with four straight turnovers in the four quarter.

Utah State proved to once again being a very dominant team by beating Air Force and Nevada can still not play complete game in its loss to Colorado State.
