Genesis closes with Jacob’s redemption and Joseph’s forgiveness. Jacob blesses Pharaoh, Ephraim, Manasseh, and his sons—pointing to Judah’s royal line and Joseph’s double portion. Joseph affirms God’s sovereignty: “You meant evil…God meant good.” In Luke 11–12, Jesus confronts Pharisaic hypocrisy, warns against greed, teaches trust over anxiety, urges readiness for His return, and calls for repentance with urgency. This week we talk through Genesis 46-50, Luke 11:37-13:5, Psalm 49, and Psalm 101.
