God didn’t give us a soul to judge it, but for the revealing of His glory through us as we return our souls back to Him. The adventure of discovery is glorious until the pressing comes. Looking at Moses’ trial with Pharoah, to telling the disciples to feed 5,000+ people, it’s frustrating to try to obey God when you’re looking at the circumstances of your own limitation. Our souls constantly try to bargain with God when we’re trying to keep others happy, or even ourselves. God’s after the lie that’s killing us. But we feel like we are dying in the process of extracting that from our souls.
