Exodus opens with Israel multiplying under oppression, courageous midwives, and Moses’ birth, exile, and burning-bush call from “I AM.” Signs and the first plagues confront Pharaoh’s hard heart. In Luke 13–14, Jesus calls for urgent repentance, heals on the Sabbath, teaches mustard seed & leaven, warns about the narrow door, and presses the cost of discipleship—be humble, invite the outcast, stay salty.
