Just follow. Why does it become so easy to complicate the Christian life? Steve points out that unless we give God access to our hearts (intimacy, prayer, meeting Him in His Word), we don’t give Him the opportunity to redirect us as needed. In every earthly relationship, Jesus will still require that we choose Him. The Way is difficult. It cost Him everything. It costs us the willingness to give Him everything as well. In Exodus, by the time they got to the giants, they forgot their song. May we give ourselves grace this week, as He wants to direct us through His Holy Spirit. Praise is the forerunner to Prophecy. Receive the Word of God, implanted into your heart, return your soul to the Lord, and sing your song.
