The Cancer Full Moon, as a vibe^.
Occuring on Moonday Jan 13 att 5:26pm EST, we have a BIG cancer full moon. Luna is in her power spot here, as the moon rules Cancer. Amplification of our emotional process, needs, and tending.
The added layer here is that Mars is making its way backwards thru Cancer, along its retrograde journey. This is NOT an easy movement. Mars does not have an easeful time in cancer, the sign of its fall. Depletion of the water element leads to exhaustion; a literal drought that allows for the fire element to burn too strong. Prayers for LA in how literal this impact is.
The Full Moon, IMO, is not necessary a tool for manifestation. It is a moment for truth illumination, to be VERY honest with ourselves where we’re at. Exhausted? Energized? Fluctuating? Reactive? Again, the most important piece is being honest with ourselves. This lunation holds the opportunity to ask for support, resource, and lubrication of what has become depleted. If you’re wiped out, ask your Ancestors for comfort + guidance. Don’t try to labor + overextend your emotional capacity, above all else.
The Nodal Axis also shifts on Saturday, Jan 11 — one of the biggest astrological shifts of 2025. This is where the Eclipses will bring us Karmic curriculum this year. Buckle up, as the Pisces/Virgo axis is about to get real with us.
