The heat’s turned WAY up this Summer y’all. Lots of fire energy in the mix, especially Leo / Aries. How you feelin’? If it’s present — what’s the agitation trying to tell you?

I have often said that the discomfort in this sacred agitation is evidence of old ways of being, rubbing up against new ones. In that space, friction emerges. That very friction creates the fire of transformation, that sparks us into new ways of being.

And, its damn UNCOMFY sometimes. Like, crawl-outta-my-skin, overwhelmed by the slightest triggers & reactive more than usual. If this resonates with you, my offering is — what is that agitation trying to tell you?

I have found it to be true that agitation is like a little smoke signal that something is one fire in our inner landscape. It is the surface level tremor that points to bigger changes happening underneath.

If you’re familiar with IFS / parts work, sometimes my agitation is the voice of a part inside, speaking out against injustice it’s experienced. It’s trying to self-advocate. And in the face of oppressive patterns, that self-advocacy can feel like we’re going to explode. Thrashing is a good sign that we’re working something important out of our system.

Self-advocacy is the name of the game. Leo season teaches us how to stand up for WHO WE ARE. How to truly be invested in what or who we care about. And to do something about it when that center of power is challenged! First, we need to know what it is that we’re advocating for, and how to find our way home to that place — over and over again.

It’s the lion mama’s fierce love as healthy protection of the spirit.

The biggest truth Leo has taught me, is that the world NEEDS me to be MYSELF. Why else would I be here? Why else would I have been given these very particular gifts? TO SHARE THEM. And to share myself fully, as the greatest offering I can make to the larger human family. My expression is sacred, especially when it comes from the authentic place of the spirit. Unobstructed by the opinions or projections of others.
