Well, things are starting to kick up again in the news world and this week brought us a lot of stories from the great outdoors. From poachers getting handed fines to politically-motivated moves from an outgoing administration, there was plenty to cover this week in the outdoor world.

For starters, the Feds were busy knocking down big proposals this week: one for the long overdue delisting of grizzly bears and the other aimed at putting a halt to any future wolf reintroduction efforts in Colorado. In addition to the political theatre, Texas Game wardens also made a massive bust smack dab in the middle of downtown Austin last week.
