In her sixth week of Daily Intermittent Fasting (and her sixth episode of the IF Journal Podcast), Donna Reish talks about her progress, her habits, and her insights. She added a fasting app, which helped increase her motivation to increase her average fasting time. She describes how she shortened her eating window, which resulted in longer fat burning time. She also experienced delayed hunger! Donna also explains the process needed in order to vary the fasting and eating windows from day to day. She discusses a few reasons why people sometimes do not lose weight on 16:8 (without also incorporating keto or calorie counting). Lastly, she describes gaining self control and not using fasting as an excuse for a free-for-all.
