Last week, drummer and founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, Butch Trucks, passed away. Our thoughts are with Butch’s family and friends. Donations in Butch’s names may be made to The Big House Museum in Macon, Georgia, where members of the band, their roadies, friends and families lived from 1970 to ’73. Today we honor the band that helped establish the genre of Southern Rock with music from Gov’t Mule, Widespread Panic and Jeff Crosby.
