The Jazz Hole’s own host, clarinetist and saxophonist Linus Wyrsch and Swiss pianist Claude Diallo just released a live duo album together entitled Live at Villa Irniger. They recorded it last year, live in their common home country Switzerland. Celebrating the release, Linus talks to his duo partner Claude Diallo on today’s show as well as to NYC-based Turkish composer and singer Gizem Gokoglu whose phenomenal composition Hayir is a part of the duo’s album. The other music on today’s show comes from guitarist and composer Steven Kirby, who just released Illuminations and from Patrick Zimmerli, who is about to release Clockworks.
