Gather with your Pursuit Group and have the following discussion:

» Take turns reciting this Week’s memory verse: 2 Samuel 7:22

» How has it been helpful to reflect on that verse every day?

» Does the idea of God’s Sovereignty comfort you or confront you? Why?

» What are three ways you might demonstrate complete submission to God’s authority in your life?

» No matter whether you choose submission or rebellion, God already knew it in advance, and will use it for His sovereign plan. How do you feel about that?

» Where are you when you feel closest to God?

» Do you have a tendency to tell God how big your problems are, or tell your problems how big your God is? Why is that your tendency?

» If God were to speak to your current fears or anxieties right now, what would He say?

» Why do you think God chose to reveal Himself to us in three Persons?

» How is knowing God as Father helpful or difficult for you?

» What would it be like to deeply desire mercy for everyone?

» God says that if we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive them. How deeply do you believe this? What is it like for someone to stake their life on this?

» It is impossible for you to be somewhere that the Presence of God is not. What comes to mind as you reflect on that?

» Your body is a container for the Spirit of Jesus. What difference ought that to make in you?

» The Holy Spirit brings comfort and power to you. How do you need each one of those in your life today?

» Make a group decision on a one-sentence answer to the question, “Who is God” and write it in your 40 Day Pursuit Guides.

» Share one way you need to experience God right now. Pray for each other.
