Week 1 Recap, Lamar Jackson Victory Lap, Cash Game Wins and Week 2 Preview

The DFSR guys take to the podcast breaking down Week 1 for FanDuel and DraftKings. There’s a ton to look at from an exciting first week of NFL action. 

They discuss their Lamar Jackson play and the surprise that he was so low-owned in cash games on both sites. Jackson, of course, crushed the souls of the Miami Dolphins and was the highest-scoring quarterback on both sites. It came through the air more than his legs which does cause some concern going forward, but overall he was a top play. 

Some key injuries to Tyreek Hill and Nick Foles will mean major adjustments for Week 2 for the Chiefs and Jaguars respectively. 

There’s also discussion about the takeaways from Week 1 and where we can have solid information and what other performances look like outliers or game script issues. 

They look at Josh Jacobs as a potential bell-cow running back for Oakland but also express concern over some other backfield situations. 

And of course, they have to talk about some of the crazy wide receiver games, breaking down which ones are sustainable and which ones might be blips on the radar.
