Message Notes
Question 1: If God’s will happens in my life regardless, why should I pray for specific things?
1 John 5:14-15 (NLT) And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.
Phil 4:6-7 (NLT) Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds
anything we can understand.
Question 2: What exactly is the unpardonable/fatal sin, for which there is no forgiveness?
Matt 12:31-32 (NLT) "Every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven—except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven. Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come.
Question 3: When we die, do we go directly to heaven?
Heb 9:27-28 (NLT) And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment, so also Christ died once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people.
2 Cor 5:8 (NLT) Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord.
Question 4: Do all kids who die go to heaven?
Luke 18:15-17 (NLT) One day some parents brought their little children to Jesus so he could touch and bless them. But when the disciples saw this, they scolded the parents for bothering him. Then Jesus called for the children and said to the disciples, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn't receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it."
2 Sam 12:23 (NLT) “But why should I fast when he is dead? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him one day, but he cannot return to me."
Question 5: Are all Jews saved due to being God’s chosen people or do they have to accept Jesus as their Savior?
John 14:6 (NLT) Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
Acts 4:11-12 (NLT) For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, 'The stone that you builders rejected has now become the cornerstone.' There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved."
Response:

2. Will you pray for God to reveal His truth in that situation?
3. What other questions do you have?
