Overnight rain will taper off through the early morning hours on Saturday with a lull midday.

While there will be a break, the AccuWeather Alert continues as scattered storms form again during the afternoon. Some of the storms late Saturday could be strong south of NYC.

Sunday will be cooler, but sunny with highs in the 60s.
