Plus, a child in Idaho contracted Bubonic plague this week from a flea bite.
Also, former Thatcher Cabinet minister and Conservative leadership contender, Michael Portillo, has transformed into a much respected media figure.
He joins Graeme Hill presenting season 5 of Great British Railway Journeys, Saturdays from June 30 at 8:30pm, Living Channel SKY 17.
The Series focuses on how railways affected the economy and social life in history, often looking at literature, art and music of the period.
