Hello VAPA Community!

This is Dr. Trimis with your weekly announcements. Monday is a shortened day and there is no school on Wednesday. Hola Comunidad VAPA! Este es el Dr. Trimis con sus anuncios semanales. El lunes es un día corto y no hay escuela el miércoles. This is college Awareness Month and Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This week is the California Week of the School Administrator. This week we have a PTSA, School Site Council, and Shared Decision Making Council meetings on Thursday at 3:30 pm.

Our Homecoming week has been moved to the week of October 17. The Homecoming Football Games are October 21 and the Homecoming Dance is October 22. The date for the Homecoming Pep Rally will be announcement this week. This is the last week of the grading period. Students are all reminded to catch up on all classwork and homework and see their teachers to see what they need to do get and stay on track. Congratulations to our Varsity football team who defeated Contreras on Friday and to JV Cheer who performed for their first game on Friday. Good luck to students who are participating in the Spotlight recital tomorrow and submitting their Spotlight audition videos this week.Be sure to check our website and social media sites regularly for news and updates including VAPA's new membership in the Arts Schools Network. Our website is found at www.vapalegacy.com and our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, PodBean, and YouTube pages are linked on the website.
