Hello VAPA Community! This is Dr. Trimis with a few announcements. Monday is a late-start day with students expected to be at school at 10 am. Supervision for students will be available from 8:30-10 am in the covered eating area by the VAPA cafeteria.

Hola comunidad VAPA! Este es el Dr. Trimis con algunos anuncios. El lunes es un día de inicio tardío con estudiantes que se espera estén en la escuela a las diez de la mañana. La supervisión para los estudiantes estará disponible de ocho a diez en punto en el área de comedor cubierto por la cafetería de VAPA.

We had a great first week with excellent attendance, most students were on-time, and our enrollment is strong. Let’s keep it up this week. There is a lot going on at VAPA this week. On Wednesday we will have our first Community and Business Partners Board Meeting at 5 pm in the Library, on Friday we will have an emergency drill in the morning, Link Crew Freshmen Tailgate Event at 5 pm, and our first home game with JV at 4 pm and varsity at 7 pm. On Saturday we will have our first Parent Engagement Kick-Off Event from 10 am to 2 pm. We several exciting sessions planned including college workshops and we will share the many great ways our parents can get involved at VAPA. Please join us.

 This is a reminder that all of our 9th graders are participating in an exciting off-campus event next week and this week need to return 2 signed forms, a trip slip and an Educare agreement form.

Please note that this week is Spirit Week with Monday being Disney Day and Tuesday Twins Day.

I hope you will join us for our opening Home Football Game on Friday and our Parent Engagement Kick-Off Event on Saturday.
