September is Hispanic HeritageMonth, Attendance Awareness Month, and National Suicide Awareness PreventionMonth. Thank you to all of our families who have already completed theirfederal meal applications. Under the new local control funding formula, the waythat schools are now funded in California, it is critical that we have as manycompleted applications as possible because our funding is dramatically impactedpositively or negatively. Also, students who qualify for free or reduced lunchreceive reduced or free fee waivers for exams such as SAT, AP exams, andcollege applications. Applications are available online or hard-copyapplications at school. Please check our website for more information. At ourwebsite and social media platforms, linked at the top of the website, you willalso find information about upcoming events, college presentations, auditions,and scholarships.
