Hello VAPA High School

community! This is Dr. Trimis with a few announcements. This is Hispanic

Heritage Month. Monday is a shortened day.  Hola comunidad VAPA la escuela secundaria!

Este es el Dr. Trimis con algunos anuncios. Este es el mes de la Herencia

Hispana. El lunes es un día corto.

Please remember to complete

and submit your Federal Meal application as soon as possible. The deadline is

in a few weeks. Quite a bit of our local school funding is based on data from

the lunch program, so it is critical we get in as many applications as

possible. You can apply online at the link on our website or turn in a paper

application. Students that qualify for free or reduced lunch can also get fee

waivers for the SAT, ACT, and AP exams as well as college applications. Did you

know that student attendance is also tied to funding? We lose thousands of

dollars every year because students miss school. Please do your best to

schedule appointments after school and go to school every day. Please continue

to support our artists and athletes. There are several auditions in the coming

months and we are in middle of the Fall sports season. Please mark your calendars

now for our Student-Led Parent Conferences scheduled for October 19 and 20.
