Hello VAPA Community! This is Dr. Trimis with a few announcements.  There is no school on Monday, Sept. 5, as we celebrate Labor Day and Tuesday is a regular day. September 15-October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month. 

This Thursday, September 8, is Back to School Night! I hope you will join us. We will have a parent meeting for School Site Council and ELAC elections as well as a meeting for parents of students identified as Gifted and Talented at 5 pm. Our student performances start at5:30 pm and after a short welcome, classroom visits start at 6 pm. Please continue to support our student scholar athletes and performers as we are well into the Fall Sports season and our performing groups have many upcoming performances and events. Keep up to date with what is going on at VAPA by going to our new website at www.vapalegacy.com as well as our Facebook Page, Twitter,Instagram, and YouTube pages all linked on the website.
