Hello VAPA Community! This is Dr. Trimis with a few announcements. There is no school on Monday, September 10th. Tuesday is a regular day. Hola comunidad VAPA! Este es el Dr. Trimis con algunos anuncios. No hay escuela el lunes, 10 de septiembre. El martes es un día normal.

As we move forward in the year, it becomes even more important for students to stay on track in every class. A major goal for VAPA is to have every student pass every class with a C or better to they are college prepared and can graduate on time. To support our efforts in this area, we will hold A-G/College Prepared meetings for the parents of our students in each grade level. The meetings will be at 5 pm in the VAPA Library on specified days. Please join us for these meetings so all of our students and their parents or guardians have a crystal clear understanding about what is expected. This week we will meet with 9th Grade on Tuesday, 10th Grade on Wednesday, and 11th Grade on Thursday. Next week, we will meet with 12th Grade on Tuesday, September 18.

Looking forward, we will have an Honor Roll Celebration on Thursday, September 20, and our Latino Heritage Concert on Thursday, September 27. Our next two home football games are this Friday (September 14) and September 28 which is also our Homecoming Game.

We are under-enrolled. If you know of any high school students who are at other high schools that would like to become VAPA students immediately, please have their parent call our office before Friday so we may begin the enrollment process with them.
