Hello VAPA Community! This is Dr. Trimis with a few announcements! Monday is a late-start day. Hola Comunidad VAPA! ¡Este es el Dr. Trimis con algunos anuncios! El lunes es un día de inicio tardío. 

This has been another fantastic week for VAPA. All of our ninth graders participated in the 3-day ACE Freshman Experience by Educare, we celebrated our honors and high honors students Thursday night, and we received the news that for a second time two of our students are scholarship winners and finalists for the Foundation for New American Musicals’ 2019 Show Search Competition. Congratulations to Nathalie Moreno and Clarissa Gaeta.

 Moving forward, we have another busy week ahead with A-G Parent Meetings for each grade and the start of our 8th grade articulation and recruitment drive. Please join us for the following parent meetings in the MPR at 5 pm: 9th grade parents on Monday, 10th and 11th Grade Parents on Tuesday, and 12th Grade Parents on Wednesday. Our enrollment and recruitment drive for 2020-21 has begun and will continue through October. Please share the good news about VAPA with any families and parents of current 8th graders you may know. The more students we can enroll, the more teachers we can bring to VAPA and the more programs we can offer our students.

 Lastly, please note that this Friday is our annual Norm Day which is critical to funding and staffing. We need the support of our entire school community to encourage all of our students to go to school every day and on time.
