This week we began our latest series, No Longer Silent, we discussed when God finally speaks. During After the Amen this week, Pastor Paul Hunter speaks on his message. Pastor Paul and Pastor Brandon Vieth discuss the points from last weekend’s sermon and how we can know that God is still moving even when it feels like He is silent.
KEY MOMENTS
At 9:36, Pastor Paul discusses his study of the intertestamental period background.
At 17:52, They answer the question is it okay to be angry with God.
At 24:05, during his message this weekend, Pastor Paul said, “the absence of words doesn’t mean the absence of presence.” This leads to a discussion of how you rely on the presence of God rather than “feeling” Him.
At 30:27, Pastor Brandon points the discussion towards the silence, preparation, and waiting during the intertestamental period.
At 35:45, Pastor Paul and Pastor Brandon talk through another quote from the weekend, “God’s silence doesn’t mean He is surprised, it means He is sovereign.”
At 38:00, Pastor Paul runs through 4 misunderstandings that we will come back to in a future podcast.
