Third times a charm on The Pathogen Podcast as this week for my weekly Writing for Feature Films class journal I watched "Abre los Ojos", a Spanish film from 1997. When I watch movies/tv pre-production shows and I have to report back on them, I jott some notes and talking points on my phone so I have an instant refresher after the movie is over. I’m going to start posting a couple of notable jotts in the description each week I do this journal as well as The Pathogen Podcast (if I ever feel like recording an episode). I swear I had an exact dream where I saw a lady like Nuria in red smoking a cigarette on my bed. I wish I could have that dream again. I need a cigarette.

Far Fetched Theory: This could be the third film in a trilogy with Bandidas being the second movie and Savages with Salma Hayek could be the first film in the CruzHayek trilogy. Timeline goes from Hayek dying in Savages, resurrecting back in time in Bandidas meeting Penelope, then time going on as usual to the future and Penelope’s presence is that of a lost soul still roaming the Earth.
