This week we are talking about:
Your goalies VOICE. How to make them project more and be HEARD.
How to improve the mental strength of your goalie.
Thoughts on the 2021 lacrosse goalie chest protector rules.
And much more!
Part 1: Many lacrosse goalies struggle with being heard on the field. In this episode we're not talking about WHAT to say but HOW to say it. Changing voices. Shy kids. Popularity within a team. These can all have an affect on how a goalie can project their voice on the field of play. Today we're going to talk about how to help a goalie use their voice so people can hear them.
Part 2: I get asked a lot about how to improve the mental strength of your goalie. This is not a quick answer! It's actually the bulk of my work over at AthleteSpecific.com and the new MentalPerformanceSchool.com, but I'm going to do my best to uncover some gems in today's FB Live to help your goalie have better performance on game days.
Part 3: This is the year for new lacrosse goalie chest protectors and I'm not really happy about it. In this episode we'll talk about Commotio Cordis. Why the new chest protectors are a thing. And why I think they still suck. :)
As always, I look forward to your questions and comments.
