Every other episode of the podcast will be a short a sweet news and politics episode focused on Texas. This week we focus on the property tax reform legislation being pushed heavily by Greg Abbott, Dan Patrick, AND Dennis Bonnen.

Having a Speaker who is actually supportive of any part of the Republican platform is a breath of fresh air and conservatives have much to be excited about. Some conservatives are concerned that leaders in Texas aren’t thinking big enough and are content with only addressing the property tax issue. This would be a missed opportunity, but the concern has yet to be validated by actions. It’s something to keep our eye on the session moves forward.
