Weekly Roundup: Silly Mavs Fans, Tricks are for Kidd
Two weeks into the NBA season the Mavs sit at a respectable or disappointing 3-3 depending on where you fall on the optimism scale. This past week the Mavs lost to the Pelicans without 3 starters, including their two All-Star talents then lost to the Thunder without Josh Giddey by collapsing late. However, they did beat the Nets and Magic, who are a combined 2-10.
After two weeks, the Mavs' only victory against an above .500 team in their win over the 4-2 Grizzlies with no Jaren Jackson, Jr. on the second night of a back-to-back. However, they have not lost to a below .500 team with the Thunder currently sitting at 3-3, the Pelicans at 4-2, and the Suns at 5-1.
Whichever way you want to look at it, you can at least admit that the team has some work to do to reach its full potential.
In this week's episode, Bibs and Reese recap the Magic game before going through the league's current standings. They then get into their weekly segments, the Unsung Hero and Weekly forecast. As well as a brief "Tweets are Talking" segment.
Finally, they capped the pod off with some sleepy banter.
